This is my dream, my passion to recreate the more beautiful parts of Tolkien's world into my own...To merge what I see with what I do not see, to have a blending of his world with mine...To be able finally to walk in the land I have so longed dreamed of...Come walk with me as we make this journey together...

Basement Idea's /Swan Boat Room

Was reading the post on the basement without separate rooms...Am actually taking my own advice as have this "room" without separate walls. Its going to be playroom, guest room and library all in this one large room. So using the "curtain" idea on the guest room part and its Arwen's room. Going to use the purple sheers or if can't get those then lavender netting from the fabric store. Its working so far...

My laundry room is either going to be the Glittering Caves or the dwelling of the dwarves...That way the Leggy/Gimli standee will have a place to call home now and then...

Still trying hard to figure out where and how to do the Lothlorien swanboat room...Want this room so bad...If I could it would be my bedroom but thats NOT an option, hubby would leave before that happened. SO now need to find a place somewhere that this CAN happen. Its time to THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX!!! Need to find a "ROOM" somewhere that can be claimed. Somewhere it won't be needed for otherwise. In fact just talking about it here has just given me a WONDERFUL idea of exactly where. There is a spot/room that was supposed to be for the other half's "office". He doesn't need an office anymore than I need another hole in my head. Its currently housing the two dogs crates (and dogs at night, etc. Its full of boxes from the move with nowhere to go yet. The other half doesn't want it now because of the dogs (too dusty) But creative get out of the box me just figured that if the room is divided somehow it could house a guest bed and "the room"....Ahhhh just the thought warms my heart and promises sweet dreams tonight planning and designing said room...After all who doesn't need a spare bed now and then for sleep overs or emergency guests? Now that we have the space time to get using it. Just wish I was more handy as a carpenter or knew someone that was...Hmmmmmm.....

Must run, about to fall asleep at the keyboard here...

Sweet dreams to all,
GG
