This is my dream, my passion to recreate the more beautiful parts of Tolkien's world into my own...To merge what I see with what I do not see, to have a blending of his world with mine...To be able finally to walk in the land I have so longed dreamed of...Come walk with me as we make this journey together...

Under Construction Reminder!

Just a reminder that most of the projects that are being undertaken (here) are still under construction. I keep forgetting that not everyone has the imagination I have to see things completed before they really are...Hence a friendly "be patient" with me on anything going on here ie: the stone steps, the gardens, the flet, etc. It all takes time mostly, some cash too but often a little creativity takes care of that by finding more reasonable substitutes for whats needed.

The steps are going to look so ancient when done. They very much need more large rocks/bolders some would call them on the sides to frame them in. This anchors them. And it will all get done. As elves go I tend to be on the shorter side and female. However am quite strong inspite of this and with handy elven tools am making it all happen. The stone bench, notice in particular the seat- yeah came from a long over hill and dale on a handtruck! ALL the stones you see for the stone steps, think each and every one was placed there and if not positioned there by the same elf! So things are happening. The flet is going up this summer...The steps should get done too. Just remember the "under construction" bit and it will be here before either of us knows it!

Ahhh, I just found your blog, googling Elvish bedroom decor. I'm wanting to DIY decorate my room in a but if Elvish style. :)

I will say one thing-- you need more pictures! I've been reading all your lovely descriptions and wishing I could actually see it all. :)
